Electric Kick Scooter App
The ekick scooter app connects the app and the scooter together, for the purpose of: viewing stats on distance traveled, checking speed at which your traveling, changing speed modes, locking and unlocking your scooter, and see your battery level. You can also view other features, depending on the brand of ekick scooter you've purchased. Not all ekick scooters have a compatible app, but many now do, including: Gotrax, Navee, Evercross, Hiboy, iScooter, Gyrocopter, Niu Kui, Circooter, Kugoo, Okai.
Features
The app can also include calculators, tools, guides, rider tips, scooter checklists, specs, tutorial for new riders, and scooter accessories and gear. The new rider tutorial is unique in that, you must complete the tutorial before you can access all the speed modes on the ekick scooter. So, basically you can scoot in slow mode until you learn the basics of your new scooter, then once you've completed the tutorial you can engage the other speed modes.
How To Connect the App
The app is connected to the scooter with bluetooth technology. Firstly, download the ekick scooter app to your smartphone. Then, turn on the bluetooth on your smartphone, and then the app will connect to the scooter. From that, just follow the prompts to read the new owner/rider tutorial, and then explore the app features. Also, some apps allow you to see the speed your traveling, which is nice to have. For this, you can connect you phone to a phone holder that is attached to the scooter, usually on the handlebar. This 'phone holder' is an ekick scooter accessory you have to buy, as it usually is not included with your ekick scooter.
