NIU KQi Air - Electric Kick Scooter
The NIU KQi Air electric kick scooter has a range of 50 kilometers, and top speed of 32km/h. Four speed modes are available from Eco slow mode, to Sport mode, and the it features a twist throttle. With its' large, 9.5" pneumatic tires, you can get a better ride over road bumps and uneven terrain. Motor power is rated at 350w, with 700peak output, and a battery, 46v(7.6ah). It takes 5 hours to charge. The escooter is also dust and water resistance and has an IPX rating of 55.
For better visibility, the Air has integrated turn signals, a deck ambient light, and rear fender brake light. This escooter has two brake systems, a front disc brake, and rear regenerative. At 11.9 kg, including its' battery, NIU KQi Air is considered a lightweight electric kick scooter, capable of carrying 120kg. With its' unique carbon fiber frame, this escooter is three times stronger than traditional escooter frames.
Notable features of the NIQ KQi Air include: wide handlebar, extra wide deck, at almost 7.5 inches. Many escooters have a deck width range of 5.5 - 6 inches. For security, the Air has NFC lock/unlock with a card, and, this feature also works using bluetooth in the NIU app. For travel, you can set the start and max speeds. And, for improving battery life, you can charge the battery to a set limit.
For warranty, NIU KQi provides a 2 year warranty on this escooter. Additionally, the warranty includes the battery, motor, controller, and frame, for the full 2 years, and, it includes the components and workmanship. The warranty for the consumable components are similar to many escooter warranties, with coverage from 3 to 6 months.
FYI: Most escooter warranties I have researched are for 1 year(or less), with 6 months on the battery, and, very few include the labor.
